Justin founded Murray & Co in 2004 after returning to New Zealand from an investment banking career in London with Rothschild, Bankers Trust and Bear Stearns, where he was a Managing Director Principal. He has over 26 years' transactional and advisory experience across a range of industries, in New Zealand and offshore. He was previously a commercial lawyer. Justin holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Canterbury, was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court, was approved by the UK Financial Services Authority, has undertaken executive education at Harvard Business School and is a certified member of the Institute of Finance Professionals New Zealand. He is Chairman of Christ Church Cathedral Reinstatement, the JV company responsible for reinstating the Anglican Cathedral in Christchurch. He is also a Crown appointed Director of Christchurch International Airport and is Chairman of its Property & Commercial Committee. He was previously Deputy-Chairman of the Christchurch Earthquake Appeal Trust Advisory Board.
